Your Not Dead Yet

Our text is from Exodus chapter 7.

7:6 And Moses and Aaron did as the LORD commanded them, so did they.

7:7 And Moses was fourscore years old, and Aaron fourscore and three years old, when they spake unto Pharaoh.

Don’t ever think that you are too old to serve God. You’re not dead yet. As you can see from our text Moses and Aaron were in their 80′s and still going strong. And Moses lived 120 yrs and notice what the Bible says about him.

Deuteronomy 34:7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

I knew a man that was still preaching at 101 and he didn’t let any grass grow under his feet. He did what he could redeeming his time while he was able and then at the end of his road he didn’t have any regrets with how he spent his time and he finished his course.

As long as you are able to speak, read, hear, or walk you can still serve God. You’re not dead yet. Even if you are a paraplegic, you still can praise God and pray for folks. As long as you can breath, you can do something for God. It may not be much, but the song says, “Little is much when God is in it.” Even if you can’t get around so good you can still pray for those who can. You’re not dead yet. When God is all through with you then He will call you home, until then, keep going for God.

Live for God by God’s grace and serve Him while you can.

You’re not dead yet.
