...Happily Ever After.

Our text will be taken from Revelation 21:4. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Regardless of the perilous times we live in or how bad this present evil world gets, regardless of the pain, suffering, sorrow, and death, regardless of the taxes, hospital beds, doctors’ calls, funeral homes, and cemeteries, regardless of the wars and rumors of wars, regardless of the terrorism, famines, sin, deception, and censure of the truth along with persecution of many, there’s always hope for the child of God and there’s always a way to rise above the broad way of destruction and damnation this world seems to be heading towards.

In our text the world kingdoms have been overthrown and the judgment of all lost people of all the ages has taken place. Then we read about a new Heaven and a new Earth in verse 1 of chapter 21.

Then in verse 4 we read our text.

Just as the old fairy tales used to say, “And they lived happily ever after.”

Praise God for the ending of the Bible. For the child of God it is going to turn out alright and we will all live…

Happily Ever After.
