Out text is from Ephesians 4:14. That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Our text tells us that when it comes to spiritual things, including doctrine, we should not remain as children that can be tricked and deceived but that we should grow up in Christ so we won’t be fooled and tricked.
There are some pretty amazing religious magicians out there these days with one intent, and that is to get you off the track from serving the Lord. If you don’t know what the Bible says about things you may very well get deceived so it is important to learn the word of God so you will know the difference between the artificial and the real.
Bible study is important along with preaching so we won’t get tricked. These things are used by God’s to help us to grow up as Christians.
Remember God doesn’t want us to remain babies on the bottle for years and years. There comes a time that we need to grow up.
